Is it safe to use an off brand power adapter / cord for my laptop?
I stumbled on my laptop power cord and the tip goes in the slope computer. It is still supported, but now I have to wiggle the cord a lot to get the blue light. HP wants me to pay more than $ 40 for a replacement, which I think is outrageous. Is it safe to get a non-name-brand replacement Walmart or off of Ebay?
no. it is safer to obtain a replacement AC adapters directly from the manufacturer.
