Adapter Magellan
2010

How do you use your car ciargette light to power devices?
I have a Magellan 3225 comes with a cigarette lighter adapter. I perplexed about how to get the AC adapter to power the GPS device. When I plug the power adapter into the cigarette lighter, nothing happens. (On my Toyota Carolla 1998) On my other car, a 2003 Highlander, there are two outlets. The first is the cigarette lighter and the other is taking current. When I plug the adapter into the outlet, it works. So on my SUV, I just plug the GPS into the power outlet designated. So how do I get the map of cigarettes in my power to my GPS unit on Carolla? Thank you in advance
Since you know the cable works in the Highlander, then the cable should work in Corolla. Make sure you press the card all the way Some cards have a little power light to show that it is connected. Also make sure the ignition key all the way if you try this (moving car). If this does not work, he possible that the cigarette lighter of your car does not work because the lighter plug fuse is blown or missing. Any repair shop can check for you if you do not have confidence in doing it yourself.
