Dose a wireless adapter desktop network with two antennas have better reception and the beach?
I am looking for an adapter wireless desktop for my computer. I want one that gets a better reception and wider than my current that gets a weak signal. I see some of them have two or more antennas on them and the cards are advertised as rangeboster. Is it better and have better range and reception than regular ones with a single antenna.
Put more antennas on the router is more than one thing that looks functional. The router is still limited by the broad spectrum it can diffuse into, and energy consumption. The additional antenna / large range gives some more because the signal is broadcast twice tandem and gives more strength, but not much.
