Can I use a USB cable to charge the Magellan Maestro 3250? ?

Can I use a USB cable to charge the Magellan Maestro 3250? I have a cable USB and a Magellan 3250. I was wondering if I can use a USB cable for charging the GPS. I connected the PC with GPS, and on the GPS screen says "USB connected. "I do not know if the GPS device is charging or not. Thank you for your reply! I mean use my PC to charge the GPS unit.
