My laptop is too hot to touch?
I have a gateway year 3 and I'm not sure what model. I keep it on a computer table Laptop for ventilation and then I put it on a more inclined Hacky-sack too inflated to allow extra ventilation. I must keep in constantly connected to the charger or it will die in less than an hour. I continue to get rid of anything that will block the vents. Even after all this sound so hot that it turns off within hours.
why not just plug into the wall outlet and use electric from this source, this way you can stop using your charger, which has the defect of the laptop or the charger, I would first like buy a new charger to see if it makes a difference and if that does solve the problem i would buy a new laptop, its not worth repairing Your 3 years, they rip you off …….
