Where can I buy a telescope without a mount and a tripod?
I have a good tripod and mount, but I want to upgrade from a 4 "to 6" reflector, it will need a new tube and the cradle. Which mail provider in the United Kingdom sell these on their own if you like, they all seem to sell complete kits, which is annoying if you already have a tripod mount. my 4 "reflector is a very good model Meade
What you want is called the "tube and optics," which is a term most often applied glasses, but applies equally to all … refractors, reflectors, and catadioptric Maksutov such drawings and TBS. Jumping 4 "to 6" is certainly worth it. This is not a small jump as suggested above, but a decent upgrade that will give much more opportunities for your observing nights …. haha, love that one. The problem is likely to be the frame. A 6 " heavier and larger than 4 "and requires a sturdy mount lot. If you have something comparable to Eq2 then a 6" will be too much for her. Even a Eq3 or equivalent will be taken and you will not enjoy your sessions almost as much as 4 "and you very disappointed.
