Does anyone have advice for choosing a device to collect GPS data?
Are specific questions, I do not have to ask before making a decision? (These data will be used with ESRI ArcGIS software.)
You might do better posting this question to the server list of ESRI. What you need really depends on the type of data you collect and what level of accuracy is required. We use Trimble units GeoXT for field data collection, but they are not survey quality. They are good sub-meter is all that is needed. They ArcPad run and are very easy to use.
