What is a handheld GPS receiver that has no navigation function?
I'm going to work in remote areas of Africa that summer and need a reliable, well-built GPS receiver that can give me a reading of my position. This is important for coordination with air support and also because most of the cards that I use are based on GPS coordinates. Since I will be using this in conjunction with paper maps itself, I do not need navigation functions and do not want to spend money unnecessarily on features I would not use. Is there product will just give me a GPS reading and nothing else? Thank you!
