Mounting my GPS – Magellan
I purchased a Magellan Roadmate 1412 GPS and I can not figure out how to mount the thing at my window. It comes with an integrated suction device, so I pushed against the window and return level. But it does not seem to stick to the window. Suggestions? Anyone have this unit and understand?
Check to see if there is a "liner" on the bottom of the cup. Some manufacturers put them there to keep the surface clean cup until you install. Also try cleaning your windshield as well and use rubbing alcohol in the area that you mount the GPS.
