I just bought a new LCD screen, is there some sort of clear plastic guard, I can buy that will protect them?
I need some kind of clear, protective plastic thick to go on the front as I'm concerned about it being damaged, no one knows where I can get one of these from the UK? Kent Precista:) Thanks! Bought a Wii …… did not you? These are cool …. Numchuks It or you have children …. Anyway …. go to your lumber yard and get a piece of Lexan. This is the plastic used on the screens protection …. get about 3 / 4 to 1 inch wider than the screen you will also need pickup to mate Velcro tape to the edge outside. Now, do you thick Lexan …. get something that has some flexibility for …. 1 / 8 inch thick should be reasonable ….. Put Velcro on the side of the Lexan, peeling the protective tape on the velcro and carefully put in place and press the edges down on your TV. Not difficult! Firmly … slowly … do not want to break your TV …….
