gps not use the full power of the battery while pluged into the cigarette lighter?
I have a garmin 330c and I'm going to Illinois on a long journey Texas system uses a battery power while im pluged the cigarette lighter just worried there will not be enough battery to make the trip, or is it all powerd by car battery
If the cigarette lighter works properly, the system should draw all operating power from her when it is plugged in make sure to extinguish and put out of sight when you stop. They are becoming high theft items. In addition, most taken turns off when the key is turned off. Everything depends on the car.
