Is it legal or illegal to mount something like a gps device on the dashboard of your car in Louisiana?
I am thinking about getting a gps device and would like to mount it on my dash or to my window. Does anyone know what the laws in Louisiana are for monting something like this? Thanks
no, it is not illegal.
but it is common knowledge that if you do that thieves will see it and break your window and to steal it.
so if you want to do that it is best to use some velcro to stick it on your dash.
then when you get out of your car remove the gps and put it out of sight so they cannot see it..
if they can see it they will break your window and steal it.
like i said this is very common that thieves look for gps units that they can steal.
