There are 2 ways to get traffic on your TomTom. You can get it through your phone if your phone is compatible and you have unlimited data GPRS plan (which means the U.S. AT & T or T-Mobile) Or you can get through the traffic receiver. The traffic receiver includes 1 year free of traffic. If you use your phone, you can get 30 days free. With either option at the subscription price will be the same once you pay for it. Must also know that big cities are covered.
