Is it okay to buy a used mulit day pass for disneyland and/or universal studios Hollywood?
Hi. four of us are going during first week of Oct. to So Cal for Disneyland and Universal. Does either place check for I.D. to match the ticket signed names? Also, does either place use electronic finger print scanner? Thanks. Need to know if it’s worth the risk to buy “used” tickets with remaining days on them. thanks.
I wouldn’t. There’s just no way to know if the tickets actually have remaining days. (Plus you’d be violating the ticket agreement, if you care about such things.) I haven’t seen anyone comparing IDs to tickets at WDW or Universal Orlando, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t reserve the right to start doing it at any moment, particularly if something feels suspicious to the cast members.
I’ve seen the finger print scanner in use at WDW, but even there it’s not used consistently, or perhaps only consistently for guests who have the “on property” passes.
