Lincoln Navigator AdvanceTrac treatment problems?

I drove my browser and for no reason at all the light came on AdvanceTrac. I pulled over close to the vehicle and began supporting the light goes AdvanceTrac then I started to drive and again the light for the AdvanceTrac came. anyone know what would cause this or how to fix this?? 2003 Lincoln Navigator 4×4. thank you in advance!

Your tires are your problem. This vehicle requires the same tire manufacturer, same size and same circumference. Your computer is reading your wheel speed sensors, and picking up a different wheel speed of each wheel, with enough variations between two wheels, for throwing a slip condition, thus causing the 4×4 to engage. There is a TSB from Ford for that, and warranty claims as an expert, I see some times a week. If you let this condition persists, it will destroy the empty front hubs and bearings, and it will also destroy your transfer case and / or front differential. You should take the vehicle, ask them to drive with an attached scanner and watch the wheel speed of each wheel. If the circumference (Not diameter) of the wheel has a greater measure or measuring less than 1 / 4 inches, it can cause this condition. They will be the vehicle and roll a measuring tape around each wheel, and take a measurement. Remember, if you have two different manufacturers of tires on your vehicle even if they have the same size, variation may still be present. It would not be noticed on a vehicle that did not AWD or AdvanceTrac. If you are under warranty, and you continue to drive the vehicle and destroy others, this TSB is the first thing they check, and if failure is attributed to tires, they exclude as failures caused by tires, a non-covered. Good luck with that.
